Better Than Elderberry?

We used to have a product called "Umcka Cold Care". I think the last time we had it was about four years ago. Few customers new what it was, and the employees didn't even know how to pronounce it. So, the supplement didn't sell, and it was replaced.

Lately, Umcka has been generating a little more buzz because the cold and flu season is starting. This is what I found out.

Umcka is made from a species of African geranium called Pelargonium sidoides. It has been used in traditional Zulu medicine for thousands of years, and they call it a cure for the common cold. That's strong words for a cold supplement, but anything's possible. Lots of plants can shorten the duration and reduce the severity of a cold or flu, but which one is the best? Nobody knows for sure... you just have to try it and see what happens.

I'll make sure we get Umcka again, and hopefully, somebody will give me some feedback. Matt
