Everybody Needs More Vitamin D


New studies show, and experts agree, that more vitamin D is necessary to prevent certain diseases. Unfortunately, the AAP's recommendation is still too low. Blame it on their lack of nutritional understanding, or their desire to please their pharmaceutical allies. Either way, their advice falls short. Increasing your intake to 400 iu's is better, but not nearly enough. Shoot for 800-1,200 iu daily, and make sure it is vitamin D3. .......Matt
