How pleasant to read the Naturally Yours Twitter messages -- and discover a blog post by Fayinagirl at the Gluten Free Vegan Family blog about our store.
What's really neat is she says she found products in our Peoria store that she can't find in health food stores in her own, larger, city.
Fayinagirl is the first recipient of our Usable Testimonial Gift Card program.
The next time she passes through Peoria and/or Normal, IL and stops at either store, she'll find a $15 Gift Card waiting for her. (Ask for the manager to receive gift card.)
You can win a free gift card, too, if you give us a sincere testimonial about our Peoria or Normal, IL store that we deem usable in our blog and other promotions.

The Last of the Great Road Trip Posts
Last road trip post, I promise. ;-)
Since many people have asked how we managed to stay vegan and gluten-free on the road I wanted to fill you in on our top tip: find local natural food stores as you travel. Even better, look them up and map them out before you hit the road.
Thanks to my terrific sister-in-law we visited this wonderful little store in Peoria, Illinois.
I was so surprised to find products we hadn't even seen in our relatively large city. This is where we picked up a number of our goodies including the pie, cookies, and wraps.
Our number one road food mainstay, however, was (is and ever shall be) BARS! We packed a big ol' bag of these bad boys to munch along-side some dried fruits and raw seeds (and nuts for those who can tolerate them).
We tried all kinds of bars for this trip. These organic Food Bars were good, but had a little bit of an artificial flavor. Perhaps we're just spoiled by our homemade bars.
We liked these Raw Organic bars better, but still detected a little bit of a funky flavor.
These Pure Bliss bars?? Oh yes! They named these puppies right! Delicious and no aftertaste. Yummy, and highly recommended.
Our favorite bars of the lot were these Boomi Bar Perfect Pumpkin bars. Really short ingredient list and super-fresh flavor! If you come across these try them. They are terrific!
The one problem we face with relying on bars for our road trip eats is the sugar content. It's a topic that sends even the kindest foodies into a frenzy. Which sweeteners are best? Which are actually harmful? The debate continues.
