Traditional British Christmas Pudding VIDEO

A delightful and memorable treat for the holiday season is the traditional British Christmas pudding.

Did you know that the traditional Christmas Pudding was always made a year in advance to allow the flavors to mature? My, how things have changed over the years. Today's busy person would be shocked to think of making a dessert one whole year in advance.

You need to store it in a cool dry place, in the original basin it was steamed in, wrapped in cooking paper and you can put film round it if you wish. If you do not have such a place then you can freeze it. Some like to steam the pudding for 13 hours, sealed in buttered paper, tied with string, otherwise water vapour will get in and with the lid on the pan so it cooks in steam.

Perhaps these videos will help you and inspire you to craft a lovely traditional Christmas pudding this year, to amaze and delight your family and friends.

Use all natural, organic ingredients for a super healthy pudding.
